Invest in yourself

Committing to growth

When you enter into a LEI Mentoring relationship, you are making one of the most important investments you could make… in yourself. Our mentors offer emotional and spiritual support, and encouragement, as you grow to become a leader for the glory of God.

Our hope is that our mentees develop Christ-centered, world-changing influence with a clear vision for their lives to step forward as God’s men and women in their spheres of influence. We also instill in them an aspiration to mentor others to have the same vision and influence.

Christians need a vision. (Proverbs 29:18)

Everyone lives by a vision, whether they realize it or not. It sets your life’s trajectory and impacts your legacy. It informs your daily decisions, how you live, adn who you live for. Leadership Edge Mentoring is built on a biblically based, God-honoring vision for life – the Life Vision Statement. The Life Vision Statement guides you, much like a compass, well beyond your mentoring relationship.

Christians should be intentional. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Everyone lives by a vision, whether they realize it or not. It sets your life’s trajectory and impacts your legacy. It informs your daily decisions, how you live, adn who you live for. Leadership Edge Mentors are well-trained, mature Christians. They guide each meeting wtih intentional conversation, prayer, scripture, leadership frameworks and tools, coahcing, and debriefing lessons learned. The result i smentees growing in their desire to live God-honoring lives and to become leaders with integrity across all their spheres of influence.

Christians can develop leaders. (Matthew 28:19-20)

All Christians have influence, which means we are all leaders. When we steward that influence in a God-honoring way, we change culture by investing in others and living lives worthy of imitation. Leadership Edge Mentoring relationships model encouragement and commitment to each other. As the mentee grows in their leadership and influence, we pray they also choose to step forward and invest in others.

The Commitment

75 minutes (Average weekly or every other week meeting length)

30 to 60 minutes (Time doing online lessons before meetings)

3 to 4 months (Average mentoring term lenght; longer if desired)

The mentor and mentee prioritize the relationship and commit to an honest, purposeful developmental relationship.

The Value

You get a structured developmental time to help you grow as a leader in your spheres of influence in all of life.

You can assess your growth. During your mentoring relationship, you will complete a series of assessments to help you and your mentor evaluate your growth over your time together.

You will grow in your dependence on the Lord and desire to glorify His name through the adoption of a vision to guide all of your life for the rest of your life.
